To piggyback off of a post I did a couple weeks ago about the new University of Maryland campaign, I thought I would share the admissions video that will be supporting the campaign. I think this does a fabulous job of interweaving images, video, text and music to relay a powerful message. Stephanie and Amy have said it a million times in reference to our narrative projects ... the right music/images/copy will hook your audience. The buzz on campus about this video is that even if you didn't go to Maryland this piece sucks you in. I'm a Towson grad, but having worked at the university for the past 3 years I have a strong connection to the university, and I feel like this is one of those piece that makes you want to get out there and do something. This video will be one of the first things newly accepted students for the Spring semester will see, and I think it’s a great way to get them pumped about becoming a Terp.
