Nice Package

So I finally upgraded to iLife '11 this week in preparation for some movie making magic (well kinda ... ya'll can judge on Saturday). Anyway, I had the box sitting on my desk at work and the more I stared at it the more I grew an appreciation for Apple's packaging. If you haven't discovered by now I'm what you might call a clean designer. I like structure and white space. Some might say that style of design is boring, but I think Apple does a great job of making this kind of design interesting and visually appealing. A great example is the packaging done for iLife. They represent the features of iLife in a simple, classic way, and I love the colors used on the new upgrade.

I found an article that goes into more detail about why Apple's packaging works so well in branding the company. Check it out ...
