I've never really been much of a procrastinator, but as we've come to the halfway marker in the semester I feel like I've hit a wall. My inspiration is lacking, and I'm fully supporting any sort of distraction from schoolwork. I spent last night cleaning my office at home instead of working on any assignments for Words & Images or Creative Concepts (something I know I'll be kicking myself for on Friday night). Clearly procrastinating is in full effect. Ironically, something I keep finding myself saying a lot these days are there are not enough hours in the day. Too my surprise I found this quote that I had ripped out of a magazine ages ago tacked up to my bulletin board (obviously it was covered by a million other things) ...
"Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson and Albert Einstein." -H. Jackson Brown Jr.
If that isn't inspiring, I don't know what is. Now I guess I better get back to work ...
I wish there was a "like this" option on Blogger :)
