Not sure if a redesign of the dollar will actually help the recession, but it certainly will make our wallets look a lot prettier! I'm a fan of the bright colors, and it certainly is a nod to the Euro. Research has also showed that most people handle money vertically (think about it, it’s so true!), so why not reflect that in the new design. Sean Flanagan’s submission is a more subtle redesign, but I think it’s just as suitable.

This is so interesting! I just had to dig through my wallet and fumble around with a few dollar bills, because it never occurred to me that we handle money vertically. I wonder if the color bills cost a lot more to print?
