In an effort to get Baltimoreans to shop local and support the businesses around them, the Baltimore Green Currency Association has created $1 and $5 Baltimore bucks to be distributed in local neighborhoods such as Mt. Washington and Hampden. I love the nod to Baltimore icons used throughout the designs. Now I just need to get my hands on a couple of these ...Baltimore Magazine has also covered this project.
