As I type this I'm in the middle of the end ... in about 2 and a half months I will be done with grad school. Finished. Never have to set foot in a classroom again. Amazing to think about ...
In preparation for this chapter to close in my life I'm pulling together all the necessities for my future: a website, portfolio, identity, updated resume, etc., and it has given me time to reflect on the past 2 and a half years that I have spent in the program. There have been great critiques from my professors, and the not so great. Nights when I wanted to call it quits because I just couldn't bear to write another rhetorical criticism reflection paper. Group projects gone to hell. But overall, my time at UB has been a good one. I've learned some valuable lessons, meet some talented fellow designers, and along the way found out who I really am as a designer. And shockingly, I had the urge to start this blog back up. Who knew this measly little project for Words & Images would turn into something I wanted to revisit?
